Australian pull ups, also called body rows, are a basic bodyweight fitness exercise for calisthenics beginner. This movement is a progression for pull up and chin up training basic grip and pull strength.
The exercise is done with low bar, gymnastic rings or equipment like sling trainer with back pointing to the ground. Legs, core and scapula a tighten and in one straight line while pulling your body till shoulder are in the height of the bar. The movement back down should be conecntrated and slow. The level can be modified by changing levers of the body.
